The Digital Writing Instruction Workflow

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

We're still doing it wrong. We assign written products to students and either collect ephemeral pages covered in student scrawling, or attempt to "go digital" and end up awash in a sea of word processor files which elicit a heartfelt "now what?"

We need a bulletproof digital writing instruction workflow.

This isn't simply a means for tossing your manilla folders and composition books. It's about fortifying the core pieces we know helps all teachers support their striving writers: pre-writing, drafting, multiplying your presence, protecting the 1:1 writing conference, recognizing weaknesses and having the agency to focus on the grammar and syntax drills to correct it, and doing all this with autonomy and authenticity of tools and task.
In this Mobile Minds Workshop, educators will leave armed to launch their own digital writing workflow for their students, and ditch the red ink. You'll even learn to stop "grading papers" and instead start "coaching writers".

The students won't just thank you; they'll do it with eloquence.
