This session will explore why Evansville-Vanderburgh Schools committed to true differentiated literacy instruction. As a result, EVSC’s students experienced tremendous Lexile Level gains on nonfiction text in only 3 months. This success is attributed to the implementation of Achieve3000, a web-based, differentiated literacy program which provides high interest, nonfiction articles to students. All of the articles and activities are delivered to the students at their exact Lexile Level. Evansville Educators will share their implementation success and strategies for improving student literacy with ALL students, in ALL content areas. Those attending the session will receive helpful handouts, a free Achieve3000 trial, and participate in open discussion following the presentation.
